Sweet Science at Building Dedication
At the Dr. Dane A. Miller Science Complex’s dedication last Friday, Oct. 5, hundreds of visitors toured the building and sampled freshly made liquid nitrogen ice cream. The science complex holds 22,500 square feet of renovated space and 13,000 square feet of new space, and features the county’s first green roof and 875-gallon hexagon aquarium. It’s easily the most-visited building on campus right now! Dr. Drew Flamm, head of advancement, and Dr. Bill Katip, president of the Grace College, spoke at the dedication. CFO of Zimmer Biomet Dan Florin, President and CEO of K21 Health Foundation Rich Haddad, Mary Louise Miller and other community leaders were also present.
